Rosarium Privacy Policy

Rosarium is owned and published by Brantly Millegan. This policy applies to Rosarium on Android, iPhone, and Apple Watch. Rosarium is designed as a private, offline prayer companion. It has no user accounts, advertising, analytics, third-party crash-reporting service, or developer-operated server.

Information stored on your device

Rosarium stores the information it needs to work in the app's private storage on your device. This may include prayer and devotion progress, novena enrollment and completion dates, reminder state, starred items and their order, app preferences, and synchronization state. The Apple apps may also store timestamps and a random app-install identifier used only to reconcile newer and older progress between a paired iPhone and Apple Watch.

Rosarium does not ask you to enter your name, prayer intentions, contact details, or other personal content. The developer does not receive the information stored by the app. Rosarium does not sell or share personal information.

Device features and permissions

Rosarium may use your device's haptic hardware for optional prayer cues. When you begin a novena, the Android or iPhone app may ask for notification permission and schedule local reminders on that device. You may deny or disable notifications in system settings, and you may stop an active novena and its reminders inside Rosarium. The app may keep the display awake while a prayer is open.

On supported Apple devices, Rosarium offers App Shortcuts that can be used with features such as Siri, Shortcuts, Back Tap, Double Tap, or the Action Button. Apple processes use of those system features under Apple's terms and privacy policy; the Rosarium developer does not receive your Siri or Shortcuts activity.

iPhone and Apple Watch synchronization

If you install Rosarium on a paired Apple Watch, supported prayer progress and preferences may be exchanged between your iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple's WatchConnectivity service. Novena progress is stored independently on each device. The developer does not operate the synchronization service and cannot access the synchronization data.

Operating-system backup and device transfer

Depending on your device and system settings, Android backup, iCloud Backup, or an operating-system device-transfer service may include Rosarium's locally stored data. Google, Apple, and device manufacturers control those services under their own terms and privacy policies. The Rosarium developer does not receive or have access to those backups.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you reset or stop the relevant prayer or novena, clear Rosarium's app storage where the platform provides that option, or delete the app. To remove Rosarium data from every device, remove or reset it separately on each device where Rosarium is installed. A platform backup may remain according to the platform provider's retention rules.

Data collection and third parties

Rosarium does not transmit user data to the developer or to advertising, analytics, or data-broker services. It does not contain third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Platform services such as notifications, backup, device transfer, Siri, and WatchConnectivity are provided by Apple, Google, or the device manufacturer under their own privacy terms.

Children

Rosarium does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else because it does not collect personal information from users.

Changes and contact
